- Stay up to date with relevant UK aviation regulations and guidelines, including A8-24/23 requirements, to ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior technicians in the field of vintage aircraft propulsion systems.

Requirements:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including Mathematics and English.
- Relevant technical certifications or training in aircraft maintenance are desirable.
- Proven experience in maintaining, repairing, and restoring vintage aircraft propulsion systems is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of piston engines, their components, and their maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with UK aviation regulations and safety protocols, including A8-24/23 guidelines is desirable.

Deliverables
- Regularly visit suppliers to conduct Supplier Quality Audits
- Collect, maintain and report on supplier performance metrics, including Non-Conformances
- Review supplier manufacturing processes and work with Engineering and suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities

Person Requirements
- Proven Supplier Quality Engineering and Audit experience
- Experience in related industry e.g. Automotive, Defence, Aerospace, Electronics etc.
- Work closely with the Quality and Engineering Departments, including the Electrical and Mechanical Inspection Teams to support the management of Supplier Quality Issues

The company in question are market leaders in their field and part of a wider corporation with a strong presence globally. 

This is an opportunity for an ambitious engineer who has strong mathematical modelling capability prior experience or aspirations of being a key person in defining technical development and guiding the development direction for a range of products which are utilised across different industries. 

In this role you will develop algorithms for data sensors and navigation technologies, supporting the integration and deployment of real-time codebases. You will also define requirements for different sensor packages, and model, simulate, and characterise their behaviour 

In addition to a formal qualification within Mathematics, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline, suitable applicants should be able to demonstrate: 
- Qualified to MSc or PhD level, with a passion for mathematical modelling
- Good appreciation of C++ programming and using modelling tools, most notably Matlab
- Knowledge of Kalman filters would be highly advantageous
- Prior experience with navigation technologies (GNSS, GNC, GPS)
- An interest in robotics

• Ensure legislative and company procedures are adhered to in order to ensure that the Company remains compliant and aircraft airworthy.
• Liaise with CAMO, Part 145 engineers and Operators.
• Entry of maintenance data utilisation onto the Maintenance system.
• Review of allocated Aircraft status reports on a weekly basis to ensure full maintenance programme compliance is maintained
. • Identify provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisation and update the Maintenance planning calendar with 'Provisional' maintenance dates
. • Review material requirements against provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft.
• Raise aircraft scheduled maintenance work packs.
• Review of prepared work specifications and work packages for maintenance inputs to ensure that aircraft downtimes are minimised. • Confirm material requirements are available for the scheduled maintenance events for allocated aircraft 

Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of EASA regulations relating to Part M and Part 145 Airworthiness and Maintenance requirements.
• Experience with Aerotrac software, for the use of Technical Records, Planning and Maintenance.
• Knowledge of Leonardo and Airbus helicopters.

Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
