Our client is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer to join their dynamic team, responsible for driving technical pre-sales activities and solution development to capitalize on new business opportunities and shape the evolution of information systems for frontline users. As the primary technical strategist and solution architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing a technical strategy that exceeds customer expectations, positioning my client for continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions, pricing strategies, and collaboration approaches that effectively address their requirements.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a technical pre-sales or solution architecture role, preferably within a technology-driven industry.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in developing and implementing technology solutions, particularly in challenging environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and gather requirements while considering resource, commercial, and technical constraints.
- Empathy and integrity, with a commitment to prioritizing user needs and ethical practices.

Our Client specialise in the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of LV and HV switchgear and associated assets.
You will play a pivotal role in the survey, quotation, delivery and execution of electrical maintenance and installation projects for some of the world’s most reputable brands, working across a wide range of industries including Utilities, Marine, Oil and Gas, Renewables, and Transport.
The role will include a variation of tasks from planned preventative maintenance and service contracts to retrofits and major installation projects, you will be responsible for managing LV and HV switchgear projects from cradle to grave, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, contractual agreements, and HSSEQ requirements.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Relevant experience in a similar role within an Engineering discipline
- A strong background in Electrical Engineering , ideally with a thorough knowledge of switchgear manufacturing and/or maintenance.
- Knowledge and experience with retrofitting of LV and MV switchgear are advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical CAD drawings is required.
- Experience in negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers is advantageous.

We are very keen to speak to Field Services Engineers(LV/HV) who are looking to work with a World Class Engineering Solutions provider.
Our Client specialise in the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of LV and HV switchgear and associated assets.
The successful candidate will form part of the site services team, whereby you will be responsible for the hands-on execution of electrical distribution projects.
You will partake in activities such as the installation and maintenance of LV and MV/HV Switchgear, transformers, and distribution equipment up to 33kV.
The candidate candidate should be flexible and willing to travel both nationally and internationally, as this role involves traveling to sites across the UK, overseas and offshore.

Our Client specialise in the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of LV and HV switchgear and associated assets.
The successful candidate will demonstrate industry leading technical expertise in order to carry out HV cable joining and terminations on 11KV & 33 KV
You will draw on your wealth of experience to carry out HV cable joining to install and connect a wide range of cables, accessories and substation switchgear / plant associated with distribution network. This could include the installation and termination of HV & LV Cables, installing switchgear, earthing, heavy duty cut outs, MSDB’s as well as small power and lighting
You will be expected to communicate with the senior clients and engineers whilst on-site, sharing regular progress updates and making them aware of any challenges or issues which may arise whilst carrying out your work. You will be solutions orientated, positive and proactive in your day-to-day tasks.

About the opportunity:
Our client are a leading manufacturer of high performance rotating equipment and they are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to manage technical investigations and develop new product solutions.
The main objective of the Development Engineer is to improve overall motor performance through developing test systems, processes and methodologies.
You will translate these concepts into useable prototypes for Testing and Verification and translating concepts developed on the Dyno into real world production solutions.
Deliverables:
- Leading technical Investigations, Testing and Analysis
- Perform Root Cause Analysis using tools such as Five Whys, 8D, Fishbone etc.
- Develop test plans, build prototype machines, draw conclusions and feed back improvements and ideas into the Design and Manufacturing teams
Person Requirements:
- Knowledge and application of high performance electrical machines and rotating equipment
- Ability to lead product development and technical investigations

Overview:
As a Technical professional within food manufacturing, you will be joining a business with a rich history that can help you excel your career. The businesses are supplying in major retailers and food service sectors.
Role Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Food Safety & Compliance Manager duties will include:
- Driving daily GMP KPI’s ensuring they’re in line with all targets whilst developing the overall GMP standards.
- Ensuring the site is always audit ready and compliant with GMP. Ensuring corrective action is met and communicated through the factory teams if needed.
- Managing site audit schedules to ensure compliance alongside the Technical Manager.
- Liaising with customers, dealing with complaints, driving standards and co-ordinating customer visits / audits.
- Managing complaints investigations, determining route cause through analysis, and implementing corrective action.
- Champion factory processes and food hygiene controls. Having an excellent understanding of microbiology – working closely with Hygiene, Operations and Technical team to define and implements action plans.
Candidate Profile:
- Food Science or similarly relevant BSc / HND / HNC educational background is preferred but not essential to apply.
- Must have retailer audit experience.
- Proven track record in quality/technical at a similar level within UK food manufacturing.
- HACCP Level 3 as a minimum.
- Food Safety Level 3 as a minimum.
- A working knowledge of BRC, latest industry and retailer auditing expectations and compliance standards.
- An overall strong communicator who is passionate about food safety and drives their teams to get the best out of them.
