Senior SAP SD Inhouse Consultant

Location: 90% remote, 10% in Düren, Germany
Salary: €95,000 - €110,000

Company Description: A leading luxury food manufacturer is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior SAP SD Inhouse Consultant to join their team. This role is ideal for a strong individual contributor who is ready to leverage their SAP SD expertise to drive improvements in operational efficiencies and processes. Reporting directly to the Head of SAP Systems, the successful candidate will enjoy a strategic yet hands-on role within the company. The position offers a flexible working arrangement, primarily remote, with the necessity for occasional in-person collaboration at the Düren office.

Senior SAP SD Inhouse Consultant - Responsibilities:
- Lead the support and strategic optimization of the SAP SD system landscape, ensuring SAP solutions effectively meet the company's needs.
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering and analysis, working closely with various departments to ensure SAP SD implementations support and enhance operational workflows.
- Implement and oversee modifications within the SAP SD module through expert programming/customizing, aiming for optimal system performance.
- Serve as a senior consultant for SAP SD, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to facilitate system enhancements and project success.
- Manage production-related projects and transitions to S/4 HANA, ensuring effective integration and system performance improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering SAP SD solutions that address and solve industry-specific challenges.
 
Senior SAP SD Inhouse Consultant - Requirements:
- A degree in IT, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as an SAP SD module supervisor, demonstrating a deep understanding of SAP SD customizing and programming.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, with the ability to tailor SAP SD to meet specific operational needs.
- Basic familiarity with S/4 HANA and readiness to apply this knowledge in relevant projects and migrations.
- Native-level proficiency in German and fluency in English to ensure effective communication with diverse teams and international stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a track record of delivering efficient and effective SAP SD solutions.
- Having a background in consumer goods or production is beneficial, as it provides valuable insights into industry-specific challenges and requirements.
