We are currently working alongside a well known and highly reputable business as they looking to increase their capabilities within research and development, and specifically within their Embedded Development department.

The company in question have built an incredible global brand within traditional engineering over a number of decades, and are now developing a product range which has the potential to play a key role within the ever increasing effort for sustainability and electrification. 

Within the your role as an Embedded Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for capturing key product requirements and translating them into tangible designs which are adept for manufacturability. Given the complexity of the product range, you'll be required to work within a multi-disiplinary team, and enjoy the challenge of taking concepts through early design and development phases, and eventual customer delivery.  

In addition to a formal qualification within Electronics, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline, you should be able to demonstrate the following: 
- A minimum of 5 years embedded software development experience
- Prior experience within the end-to-end development lifecycle of products, and subsequent customer delivery 
- Strong skills within Embedded C/C++ development experience
- Knowledge of microprocessors, predominately within the ARM Cortex family
- Experience with processor interfaces including I²C, SPI, USB
- An appreciation of hardware development, or the ability to effectively read schematics
