We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join one of our R&D clients who are based in Kent. The company in question are looking for somebody with a strong background in hardware development, to join their ever-growing team as they look to bring more of their R&D activities in-house.

Our client is looking for somebody who has an innovative mind and enjoys the challenge of working on cutting edge technology within a highly specialised market to be a key figured head in the R&D team, working closely with engineers from various departments including mechanical, software, test & production. Ideally, you'll have experience in leading projects, making key product development decisions, and managing key stakeholders (internal and external). 
  
In addition to a formal qualification (MEng, BEng, HND, etc) in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline, you should be able to demonstrate strong skills and experience in the following: 
- Exceptional PCB design experience (preferably using Altium, but not essential)
- Developing hardware schematics
- Analogue and digital circuit design 
- An appreciation of EMC tests and compliance
- Previous experience working on modern and emerging technologies (IoT, smart sensors, etc) would be beneficial but is not essential
