SAP S4Hana Project Manager

Location: Dortmund, Germany (Hybrid)
Salary: €100,000 - €110,000

Company Description: A prominent wholesale entity in the manufacturing sector located in Dortmund, we are searching for a proficient SAP S4Hana Project Manager. This individual will spearhead a significant SAP S4Hana overhaul, closely collaborating with an implementation partner to ensure the project's success across various modules, notably FICO, SD, and MM. The role entails direct reporting to the Project Head and is integral to guiding the project to fruition, emphasizing internal coordination and efficiency.
 
SAP S4Hana Project Manager - Responsibilities:
 
- Serve as the primary interface for department heads, stakeholders, and external project collaborators, ensuring a streamlined and transparent communication flow throughout the transformation’s lifecycle.
- Take the helm in orchestrating the SAP S4 HANA project from its inception to full implementation, aligning closely with project objectives, budgetary guidelines, and internal stakeholder satisfaction, under the guidance of the project sponsor (Business Unit Head IT & Process Management).
- Spearhead the strategic planning and execution of project activities, including the selection of project methodologies, the delineation of work packages in partnership with the external implementer, and the decisive steering of the project towards a technologically advanced and departmentally aligned system architecture.
- Proactively identify, assess, and navigate project-related risks and adjustments, implementing stringent quality control and thorough documentation practices.
 
SAP S4Hana Project Manager - Requirements:
 
- Possession of a degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, computer science, or a related discipline, or a commercial/information technology background supplemented by advanced qualifications in project management, communication, or similar skills.
- Demonstrable track record of managing ERP, specifically SAP R3 or SAP S4 transformation projects, showcasing a strong project or programme management background.
- Mastery of project management principles and methodologies, such as Prince2, Agile, or PMP, is essential, alongside a robust understanding of project management practices.
- While not mandatory, prior experience in system architecture roles or comparable positions is beneficial.
- The candidate should exhibit strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, adept at breaking down and conveying complex concepts in a structured manner.
- Outstanding communicative prowess, capable of engaging diverse organizational layers effectively.
