We invite you to join our clients prominent Electronics and Software company situated on the outskirts of Dusseldorf, Germany, as an IT Project Manager with a special focus on Project Management Office (PMO) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects. Our clients team is diving into a myriad of ground-breaking projects, including significant SAP implementations, within a team of about 20 dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for project management and leadership, who understands the strategic role of ERP systems, including SAP, in driving business success, without necessarily being a technical expert.
  
IT Project Manager (PMO and ERP Focus) - Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the planning and execution of ERP projects, with a keen emphasis on PMO establishment and management to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
- Lead the creation and governance of a Project Management Office (PMO), implementing best practices in project management, documentation, and reporting.
- Exhibit exemplary leadership skills, motivating and guiding project teams toward accomplishing project milestones and objectives.
- Ensure robust communication and negotiation channels with stakeholders, effectively managing expectations and ensuring projects are aligned with strategic business goals.
- Leverage a deep understanding of ERP systems, particularly SAP, to guide project direction and ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
- Apply comprehensive business insight and process knowledge to guarantee that ERP implementations, especially those involving SAP, are strategically aligned with organizational objectives.
- Commit to lifelong learning, continuously updating knowledge on ERP systems, SAP developments, and advancements in project management methodologies.
  
IT Project Manager (PMO and ERP Focus) - Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, supplemented by relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing ERP projects, particularly with experience in setting up and running a Project Management Office (PMO).
- Demonstrated leadership prowess, with a track record of successfully leading project teams to achieve their goals.
- Certification in project management, such as PRINCE2 or PMP, is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in English is a must for effective communication within an international setting.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
- A solid grasp of ERP systems and solutions, notably SAP, enriched by a thorough understanding of business processes and requirements. Experience with SAP is considered a valuable asset.
