IFS Technical / Developer

As an IFS Technical Developer, your role will involve customizing, enhancing, and maintaining my clients' IFS applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions, integrate APIs, and ensure smooth deployment across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Customizations & Enhancements:
- Design and implement custom IFS solutions, screens, and logical units.
- Develop custom objects to address business needs.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Create and modify reports to support business operations.
- Leverage IFS reporting tools and databases to generate insights.
- Database Management:
- Perform database refreshes and clones to ensure data integrity.
- Manage and optimize database performance.
- Integrations & APIs:
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using APIs.
- Ensure secure and reliable data exchange between systems.
- Deployment & Environment Management:
- Deploy code and configurations across different IFS environments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless transitions and updates.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as an IFS Technical Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IFS applications and architecture.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management.
- Experience with IFS development tools and methodologies.
- Ability to create and manage APIs and system integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
