Embedded Software Engineer - Aerospace

Cubiq Recruitment have partnered with an outstanding next-generation aerospace company who are looking to expand their R&D capabilities across various a number of key technical areas, including their Software & Control Systems team.

The company in question are going through an exciting growth phase as they look to be a key player within a rapidly emerging market of next generation zero emissions flight. In this role you will work within a multi-disiplinary engineering team team, and make a key contribution to the design, test and implementation of cutting edge embedded systems solutions.

In addition to a formal qualification within Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a similar technical discipline, suitable applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
- A minimum of 3 years commercial engineering experience within an R&D environment
- End-to-end lifecycle development experience
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Knowledge of embedded microprocessor development
- Familiarity with aerospace safety standards (DO-178B or DO-178C)
- Prior experience and knowledge of aerospace design principles would be beneficial
