THE ROLE:
This role would l Geneticist who is interested in advanced healthcare and pushing the boundaries of medical science through a combination of expertise in biology and machine learning.

As a Computational Geneticist, you’ll be a part of the Bio Artificial Intelligence team, with expertise using multi-omics data, to join the clients expanding BioAI team in London. 

You'll help develop and implement computational biology tools and software to support the clients platforms and get involved with human genomic and disease risk projects.

THE MISSION:
To deliver awesome research and engineering in the field of human genomics! At the same time, they want to create impactful and enthusiastic teams of experts from different backgrounds.

To build pipelines to handle all kinds of omics data, like NGS, transcriptomics, and epigenetics, and make sure the data is good quality. They want to get creative statistical analyses and use cutting-edge machine learning algorithms to make new discoveries.

They want to keep up with latest technologies by using all the available resources and they are always be on the lookout for new ideas.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in statistical genetics, functional genomics, computational biology, or related field or master's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Expert knowledge in genomics and experience with integrating public resources such as UCSC Genome Browser, Open Targets, GTEx, Roadmap, ENCODE, and Human Protein/Cell Atlas into ready-to-use workflows.
- Strong Python coding and bash shell scripting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Detective-level attention to detail and self-discipline that others would love.

NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with GWAS analyses, Polygenic Risk Scores, and variant prioritization.
- Familiarity with commonly used software packages for RNA-seq data processing and QTL mapping. 
- Experience with machine learning and AI tools applied to biology research.
- Publication record in the field of genetics or functional genomics.
