Job Description:
Are you a passionate and experienced Battery Cell Engineer looking to make an impact in the future of electric aviation? Join our cutting-edge aerospace company as we revolutionize the way people travel. We are seeking a Battery Cell Engineer to contribute to the continuous development of our cell technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
·      Develop next-generation cell designs, emphasizing scalability, safety, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
·      Collaborate closely with cell suppliers, research partners, and regulatory bodies.
·      Lead in addressing cell-related development and production challenges.
·      Work in collaboration with fellow cell engineers and other engineering functions.
·      Provide support in cell-related procurement and commercial matters.

Additional Requirements:
·      Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
·      5+ years of experience in Li-ion battery technology, with at least 3 years in the industry.
·      Experience in managing cell development projects from concept to delivery, either on the supplier or OEM side.
·      Proficiency in supplier management and project management.
·      Experience in ramping up high-volume cell manufacturing.
·      Proficiency in cell safety and performance testing, as well as design of experiments.
·      Knowledge of materials and cell design with hands-on experience in building cells.
·      An established network with cell manufacturers and/or research institutions.
·      Target-oriented, analytical problem-solving skills.
·      Proactive and capable of taking ownership of key efforts.
·      Comfortable in complex situations with many unknowns and capable of creating clarity.
·      Fluent English language skills are essential; fluency in German or any other language is beneficial.
