B2/C Modification Certifying Engineer

08:00-18:00 Mon - Thursday - 12:30 finish on Friday
£ DOE and Type Ratings

Duties:
- Assisting with complex electrical/avionics modifications and repairs either on or off aircraft.
- Removal or installation of aircraft electrical/avionics components as required.
- Support with mechanical or electrical removals and installations as needed.
- Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform and document work completed as per appropriate manuals and regulations stipulate.

Skills and Experience:
- An unrestricted UK CAA B2/C License (preferably with B200 and B300 type rating or similar)
- Received training from aircraft technical school or have completed an apprenticeship within the relevant field.
- Demonstrate experience of electrical/avionics modification, or substantiated similar experience.
- The ability to interpret and work with electrical/avionics engineering drawings.
- Own a basic set of electrical/avionics hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools.
- Demonstrate recent experience and knowledge of B200/B300 or similar aircraft.
- Desirable current Human Factors Training and proof of Initial Human Factors Training, EWIS and FTS.
