Aerospace Engineer - Loads and Aeroelasticity Specialist

Location: Remote 
Pay: £42 - £55/hour (Outside IR35)
Duration: 12 months 

Job Description:
Are you ready to take on a challenging and unique opportunity in the aerospace industry? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team and contribute to a cutting-edge project. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in determining aircraft static and dynamic loads for a one-of-a-kind configuration and envelope. Responsibilities:
- Determine aircraft static and dynamic loads for a unique configuration and envelope.
- Conduct linear aeroelastic simulations.
- Support the development of multibody dynamics and ground load calculations.
- Assist in defining modelling strategies to analyse aircraft behaviour.
- Validate aircraft models using on-ground and in-flight testing results.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Loads and Aeroelastic computations.
- Proficiency in using Nastran and scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) is a must.
- Experience in correcting DLM with CFD and/or wind tunnel test results is highly appreciated.
- Proficiency with Multibody Dynamics codes (Motion Solve, Adams, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with control systems and Aeroservoelasticity is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the aircraft certification processes is a plus.
- Target-oriented, driven work style with analytic problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English language skills are essential; fluent German or any other language would be beneficial.
- M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
