A fantastic opportunity for talented Mechanics to support an exciting project based in the Lincoln area. You will be joining our team of experts working on a line of twin-turboprop Aircraft, carrying out scheduled inspections, defect rectification, repairs and modifications on the aircraft.
To be considered for this position, you will have extensive experience within a Base environment completing maintenance on Beechcraft King Air aircraft. Due to the nature of the position, you must be flexible and able to travel at short notice to other customer or company sites within the UK and Overseas.
The successful candidate will join a long established and respected forward-thinking company that has a proven pedigree in career development within the aerospace industry, whereby you can gain valuable experience and work towards gaining your Aircraft Engineers Licence.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out assigned maintenance, repairs, and modification of aircraft and associated system as allocated
- Clearly record on worksheets details of the tasks completed, accurately reflecting the works performed with time booking
- When not assigned aircraft, fully utilise available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, and personal development for career growth
- Comply with all procedures detailed within the GAEL Maintenance Organisation Exposition
- Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
- Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook
- To have or to be able to obtain SC Clearance
- Medically fit to pass a company doctor’s examination
- Flexible and able to travel to work at other customer or Gama sites within the UK and overseas
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
- Extensive experience within a base environment completing maintenance on Beechcraft King Air aircraft (ideally B200/300)
- Completed a City and Guilds or diploma equivalent in aircraft engineering or relevant technical apprenticeship and/or trade qualifications
- Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks

We are working in partnership with a young and exciting company in London who are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their small and growing team.
The company in question are pioneering the development of cutting-edge drones to be used for various applications and across industries and differing end clients. Having already developed two initial UAV models, they're looking to expand their capability across engineering and are growing their R&D team accordingly.
In your position as Electronics Engineer, you will be tasked with re-developing hardware solutions of existing models and for new designs as per customer specifications. You will be looking at developing power distributions for avionic applications and working closely with your mechanical and software counterparts.
In addition to a formal qualification within Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics or a similar technical discipline, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Design of complex PCBs, preferably within avionics (but this is not essential)
- Good knowledge of power distributions for low-power devices
- Prior experience working on autonomous and/or unmanned vehicles
- A passion for working on drones, UAVs, and avionic systems
- Knowledge of robotic controls

About the opportunity
In this role, you'll be responsible for calibrating and integrating hybrid and electric vehicles, conducting software testing, validation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
You'll research innovative driving features, work independently in a small team, support vehicle testing in various conditions, analyse data for improvements, and contribute to research and production program features.
Deliverables
- Responsible for calibration and integration activities on both hybrid and pure electric vehicle projects.

Our client is looking for somebody who has an innovative mind and enjoys the challenge of working on cutting edge technology within a highly specialised market to be a key figured head in the R&D team, working closely with engineers from various departments including mechanical, software, test & production. Ideally, you'll have experience in leading projects, making key product development decisions, and managing key stakeholders (internal and external).
In addition to a formal qualification (MEng, BEng, HND, etc) in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline, you should be able to demonstrate strong skills and experience in the following:
- Exceptional PCB design experience (preferably using Altium, but not essential)
- Developing hardware schematics
- Analogue and digital circuit design
- An appreciation of EMC tests and compliance
