Test and Quality Engineer

About the opportunity:
Our client are a leading switchgear business operating in multiple industries such as Transmission & Distribution, Marine and Oil & Gas.
The Test & Quality Engineer will be responsible for safe and effective testing of Low Voltage LV and High Voltage Switchgear, using various equipment, techniques and methodologies.

Deliverables:
- Factory Acceptance Testing FATs of LV Equipment
- Supporting assembly technicians in Root Cause Analysis to effect corrective actions
- Conduct final point of production Quality Checks

Person Requirements:
- Recognised Electrical / Electronic Qualifications
- Knowledge of HV and LV switchgear and associated equipment e.g. Circuit Breakers, Fuses etc.
- Full understanding of Electrical Schematics
- Relevant Manufacturing industry experience e.g. Transmission & Distribution, Oil & Gas, Power Generation etc.
