Service Desk Engineer (1st/2nd Line)
Central Coventry Based – Onsite during Probation then Hybrid arrangements available
Salary range approximately £28,000-£30,000 + Bonus + Benefits
The Company:
We are currently working with a Managed Service Provider in Coventry who are looking for a Service Desk Engineer (1st/2nd Line Support) to join their team. This company is offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development with the ability to get hands-on with new Technologies and complex Configurations.
We are looking for someone highly motivated, confident, enthusiastic about taking on new challenges, and has the willingness to learn. There are further opportunities to go into Infrastructure and cloud support!

The Role/Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd Line Support to the Client base, including troubleshooting software, hardware, and business applications
- Ability to work to SLAs and in an efficient manner
- Support with IT Projects & Migrations for a variety of Clients
- Assist with new starters & leavers, PC builds and Office Setup and moves
- Manage the backups, database and software
- Roll out new Software and Applications
Requirements:
- Previous Helpdesk/Service Desk Experience (Telephone/Email/Face-to-Face Support)
- Office 365 Experience and Management
- Proficient with Windows 10/11 & Intune (Or other MDM)
- Hardware Setups – Laptops, PCs, Macs and Mobiles for End Users
- Basic Networking Knowledge (DNS/DHCP)
- Experience with Active Directory & Group Policies
- Excellent communication skills and team player
- Be decisive and have the passion to problem-solve
- IT Certifications are an Added Bonus (CompTIA, MCP etc)
