Senior Electronics/FPGA Engineer 

Salary: Between £43,000 - £64,000 - this is would depend on experience and seniority

We're on the lookout for a Senior Electronic/FPGA Engineer to join a dynamic Media Handling team within a leading global company. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in designing and developing advanced electronic systems that drive the future of technology.

• What You'll Be Doing:Design, develop, and test embedded microprocessor, microcontroller, and FPGA-based PCB assemblies.
• Create, document, and deliver digital and analog electronics designs.
• Perform schematic capture and develop electronic modules and systems (experience with Cadence Allegro is a plus).
• Develop comprehensive test specifications, soldering proficiency with SMT components, and debug hardware to the component level.
• Conduct hardware unit tests and support integration and systems testing.
• Provide effort, schedule, and change estimates while reporting progress on key metrics.
• Troubleshoot and support existing devices, ensuring their optimal performance.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• What We're Looking For:Solid experience in developing MCU and FPGA-based products.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital design, including FPGA (Verilog/VHDL) design.
• Expertise in developing and utilizing test benches for comprehensive verification of FPGA designs.
• Understanding of design for EMC compliance.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with efficiency and precision.
