About the Role: 
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Production Team Lead to join our switchgear manufacturing workshop. You will support the Workshop Supervisor in coordinating work activities and resources, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is focused on electrical engineering and involves direct oversight of fitter/wiremen teams, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily activities and delegate tasks to ensure production targets are met.
- Act as a Lean Champion, driving efficiency and process improvement.
- Foster a productive work environment through effective communication and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Provide training and support to team members, encouraging skill development.

Requirements:
- Experience in an electrical engineering workshop with the ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid and clean driving licence.
