Production Planner - Aerospace 

Location: Gatwick Airport, Surrey Job type: Contract
Pay rate: Between £20-25 an hour (Inside of IR35) 

About the Company:

Our client, an EASA and UK CAA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO), specialises in Line & Base Maintenance for 737 NG/Max, 777, and 787 aircraft. They are expanding and looking for a talented Production Planning Engineer to join their team.

Role Overview:
The Production Planning Engineer will oversee daily operations within the Production Planning department, ensuring efficient execution of maintenance inputs and serving as the main point of contact for internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage production plans and work packages using AMOS.
- Ensure the availability of materials, consumables, and tooling for maintenance tasks.
- Represent the department in internal and external meetings and audits.
- Support process improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning.
- Proficiency with AMOS and myboeingfleet.com.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills under pressure.
- Right to work in the UK and Ireland.
- Preferably an Aircraft Engineering Degree.
