Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Manufacturing to join our Leadership Team. You will oversee all aspects of our LV and HV manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. This is a pivotal role for a proactive leader with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Advance technical product offerings and drive continuous improvement using LEAN methodologies.
- Establish a Centre of Excellence to support design growth.
- Standardize systems and processes for design compliance and quality control.
- Interpret customer requirements and design compliant electrical power and control systems.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Promote the company's Premium Service, Core Values, and Culture.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing manufacturing team.
- Ensure HR compliance through performance reviews and career development.
- Foster a culture of communication and continuous improvement.
Commercial and Operational Efficiency:
- Maintain and improve profit margins through efficient manufacturing practices.
- Recommend and implement purchasing and supplier strategies.
- Monitor and manage overtime and corrective works to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with finance and senior leadership to define and achieve commercial targets.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in the electrical engineering industry.
- Proven track record in designing and taking concepts to final solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen and contract awareness.
- Full driving license.
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related subject (preferred).
