One of our leading R&D manufacturers clients near Reading are currently looking to add a Graduate or Junior Embedded Software Engineer to their ever-growing team. The company in question has ongoing R&D requirements and thus requires a graduate or Junior Engineer to join their engineering department. 
  
Key responsibilities for this role will predominately be focused on developing software for embedded systems utilised in a wide range of products in different industries and applications.
  
In addition to a formal qualification within Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a similarly related discipline, applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Good practical experience of developing software in Embedded C or C++
- Knowledge of various microprocessors
- Experience in developing software for Embedded Linux platforms would be beneficial
- An appreciation of hardware design principals and the ability to interpret schematics
