About
The employer specialises in designing, manufacturing, and servicing critical components and systems for commercial and military aircraft. The Luton facility focuses on several key areas within aerospace engineering and manufacturing* for Hydraulics, Fuel Systems, Electrical Systems and Engine Solutions.*
 
The Configuration Engineer will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of document control including effective control of the PLM system, amending Technical Drawings & Specifications using Configuration and Change Management tools, supporting New Product Development and VAVE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering).
 
Configuration Engineer Deliverables
- Leading the application of Configuration Management best practice
- Promote Engineering Best Practice in support of Design and Manufacturing Engineering
- Create and Maintain 2D and 3D Drawings and Manage Design Modifications
- Ensure adherence to Quality Processes and Procedures

Configuration Engineer Person Requirements
- Proficient PLM user (preferably Enovia)
- Previous Design Engineering experience in Aerospace or related field
- Design Office configuration responsibilities for Drawings:- Assembly, Fabrication, Test Procedure

Configuration Engineer Desirable Requirements
- CM2 / CMII Configuration Management accreditation
