Full Job Description
We are representing a highly renowned aerospace organisation who are looking for unlicenced Aircraft Mechanics to join them on a 6 month rolling contract basis.
  
Where? - Middle Wallop, UK, working full time on site.
How long? - 6 month rolling contract.
Rates? - £31 per hour inside IR35.
Experience? - Must have Chinook or military helicopter experience, ideally CH47.
Shift work? - No
  
*Responsibilities *-
- Will assemble, disassemble, and modify systems by making changes, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to fix issues or implement improvements.
- Will conduct assembly, disassembly, or overhauls. Will configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Will be skilled in troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and associated electrical systems to identify mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Will validate and verify testing of systems and components. Will document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repair test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results).
- Will collaborate with peers to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g., jacking, towing system operations).
- Will be capable of providing mentoring to peers and others.
- Will work under minimal direction.
