Avionics Supervisor

Location: RAF Odiham
Job type: 6 month contract, full time hours

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aircraft Avionics Supervisor/Technician to join a renowned aerospace company based at RAF Odiham.

Responsibilities: 
The Avionic Chinook Technician is tasked with conducting maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing avionic systems on Chinook helicopters. Responsibilities also include performing routine inspections, testing electronic components, identifying faults, and ensuring adherence to aviation regulations.

Skills and Experience needed:
- Demonstrated expertise as an Avionic Engineer within the aviation sector
- Comprehensive understanding of avionic systems and their components
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision

Desired skills and experience:
- Certifications in avionics or related fields
- Prior experience with Chinook helicopter maintenance
- Familiarity with military aviation systems

Working Environment:
The Avionic Chinook Engineer will operate within a hangar or workshop setting, frequently alongside aircraft. The position may entail working in confined spaces and at elevated heights. Infrequent travel to alternate sites for maintenance or repairs may be necessary.
